Wow, SugarKitten- love the applique and pearls on that sweater! So unique and dainty. Very pretty.
Just got this adorable little 30s sweater in the mail. Fits like a dream! So excited, cause I usually don't see this type of thing outside of catalogs!
Ooh- love that blouse pattern, dpd.
I think the spring and warmer weather gave me pattern fever with the promise of summer around the corner. Haha. I was a bit naughty over the last few weeks, but I can't wait to make some of these up for summer. I'd been on the lookout for this halter...
Ooh! that jumper sportswear pattern! I've seen it a few times, and always thought it was cute. Bummer.
That blouse!! Saved a pic of that- that's AMAZING.
:( So sad, those are so nice.
Well, I'm afraid not- I had plans to, but since it's missing pieces I'm not going to. I'm thinking of making my own patterns inspired by this one, though.
Ooh! I totally had my eye on that second one! So glad you got that!

I totally cheated on mine and just serged the seam allowance together and then topstitched them :o I'm not a good flat feller... even with the special little foot I always screw it up. I also would love to hear any tips anyone has!
Oooh! That's a great idea! But I actually just bought myself a vintage striped 30s dress, so I think I might be saved that option (for now... muahaha!). But I am having fun with different options I can do with a combination of the two dresses! Add ruffles, remove ruffles, add sleeve ruffles...
I went for a bit of a splurge, but I totally fell in love with the cascading ruffles, and the back of the gown with the puffed sleeves has a deep V back. I don't have many evening gown patterns, so I'm thrilled! :D :D
When I do a search I've been noticing that the tag "dress up" comes up. Do any of you gals use this tag? I had never thought of that before and wouldn't have thought to search for it. [huh] But maybe I'm missing something?
