Nice choice, KY! I just made a similar ribbon color choice for my sand colored Gannon (post #724). I went for the 3/8" brim binding, but in retrospect I think the wider brim binding would have been great, too. Looking forward to seeing your finished hat. Just received my new Gannon. The felt is beaver. Color is sand with matching 3/8" binding and 5/8" ribbon. 2-1/2" brim. You're most welcome! I should add that the colors in this pic (on my monitor, at least) don't appear accurate. The burgundy is is actually a bit lighter, and has more red in it than it appears in the photo.
