Vintage Shawl Collar Tux, Now What?

I recently found a two piece, single breasted shawl collar tux with a 49-62 union tag that looks like it's never been worn, and it fits almost perfectly. I checked the formal wear primer thread but couldn't seem to find the info I need, but what would the perfect shirt/tie/shoe for this tux? [huh]

    Hat smell...

Sometimes they smell like an old attic to me, but the smell goes away after handing on a hook for a while.

If you could start making quality jackets with that pattern it would be like you were printing your own money! ;)

    'Campus' wool jacket

Was is common to have one zipper brass and one steel (or whatever it is). Maybe one was replaced? Just wondering, I'm no expert by any means. It's still a great jacket in any case.

    The "Blue Blazer".

I was "made" to wear one all the time in college, I'm still kind of burnt out on them after all this time. What I really want is a nice white or cream linen jacket. Still looking.

I'm amazed that this boat couldn't be sold and the only option was to smash it to bits! Unbelievable! :rage:

    Hollywood Jackets

Very nice, I've never seen one that's striped like that before. I have a few plaid ones myself and consider them definitely more casual, but I'm not sure about the country vs. town thing.
