Absolutely amazing pictures found in this flickr family album of women (including men and children). Great history about this woman's family too :)

Even being on this forum for three years, I wasn't sure where to post this, but my question is....
Where did people store kitchen knives in the 30s and 40s? I'm guessing they didn't have knife blocks like we have now. Were they stored in a drawer, on the wall.... ? If anyone has a picture...
You'll get there eventually :)
I'm not exactly a socialite either lol When I started out, I tried different hairstyles at first and then mixed in vintage clothes until I could afford to change everything over completely. It happened over the course of two years, so I was able to adjust to it...
My mother thinks the same thing lol
In reality, it's just that I think women looked better in those days, more feminine, if you will. I feel at home in my clothes and much better than I ever did when I was wearing the modern looking stuff to fit in. You also can't beat the prices and quality ;)...
I've been sick too. I hope you feel better :)
Tonight, we'll just be enjoying a nice dinner and then probably reading by the fire. It's going to be freezing tonight!
As far as what I'm doing tonight.... I have no idea yet. Dinner at home or going out is still up in the air, but I do know that we'll be watching The Thin man Goes Home later :)
