I got the Royal Deluxe today. Lovely hat- light, supple felt, beautiful light tan sweat, and perfect condition. Oh, and... a 1 3/4 inch brim, despite the seller's assurance that it was 2 inches. Sigh. It's still plenty nice enough to keep, but damn... the bay is frustrating sometimes! Anj -

Cleaning a sweatband
I know Lexol will occasionally react badly with a old sweat, but it works wonders on far more than it ruins. If the sweat is in pretty good shape, and you just want to clean and moisten it a bit, I think Lexol is a great choice. I use it all the time. I've probably used Lexol on 20-30... -
