I don't know if anyone else has noticed, but there are a lot of pages missing. Some threads will only allow viewing on the first page, and others are missing a few pages in between some threads open to a blank page, and some member's links are blank as well. Has anyone else noticed? Yea, and my...
Thanks for the feedback. I suppose it's only a matter for attention the first few weeks, and then people get over it. I suppose I could wear a pair of jeans once in a while, but I really am not comfortable in them. There's just something about a pair of pants that make me feel more like a man...
Miss Bella,
Thank you for the reply. I suppose my primary hesitation is due to a distaste for the spotlight. I don't want to seem like I'm trying to get attention. Jeans are out of the question; after wearing slacks for work so much, and wearing jackets once in a while, jeans make me feel too...
I'm hoping some men in the lounge can give me some tips. I'm starting graduate school in the fall, and I don't wear suits daily or dress vintage--I know; I'm sorry. I do, however, dress classy and classic, and I try to cater my clothes toward vintage fashion. I wear a lot of button down shirts...
Esquire named this article the best article they've printed, while I'm not quite so sure about their categorization, for all the Frank fans, it's a good read:

I was reading the classic Gay Talese article, "Frank Sinatra Has a Cold" and thought about Ava Gardner. I youtubed her, and thought this clip said it all:

I watched each of these films once, and they're not really my taste, so I want to sell/trade them. I will sell them for $10 each door to door or trade them for something. One film I am looking for is All the Presidents Men, otherwise I am open to suggestions for trade. The films are in brand new...
I don't like banker's lamps at all. I've used them, and for my needs, they hardly illuminate the desk. I tend to sprawl everything over the whole desk, so I like lamps that illuminate a lot of space. Many writers I see use the same style. I don't know the name of these lamps, and I'm not sure...
I saw "Destination Tokyo" and was not that impressed. It was decent. I mean any vintage film can't be that bad given all my ulterior interests, but this one was okay.
I really want to see "Soldier of Orange" and "Army of Shadows," but I can't find them anywhere locally.
So you think a hard leather bag with scuff easier? I don't really mind that, as once the bag is really beaten up, it looks good, especially brown leather. But it can look bad while it's wearing in, and once it's worn in you can want something that looks fresh, which is why I'm in search for a...
I have find some way to see this. I have the Criterion Collection "Le Samouri" by Melville, and it is wondeful! How does everyone get all these old films without buying them first?
Help me out, guys. I'm not trying to defend this. This language is this dialogue sounds too insecure and defensive, and what's funny it most of the participants in the thread wear one of these bags. So, let's drop the manifestos and stick to some recommendations.
For those who have used hard...
Just saw "The Man Who Knew too Much" and "Rear Window." I preferred the fomer. It was great all around!
I also a Crietorion Collection film, "Browning Version." This was really nice--definitely minimal apporach, but it really picks-up. Great film!
