FWIW, it looks great. What is it you don't like about the CD? That it's stiff? I used to have an Akubra Squatter. When I got it, it was stiff as a board. After getting it soaked--and I mean SOAKED--in a rainstorm a couple of times, it become quite soft. You might come to love it. Just sayin'.- philosophy101
