    I've been compared to two characters lately that I don't see myself and I don't feel very flattered by the comparisons. The fact that the characters are so different doesn't help.

    I've finished re-watching "The Civil War" by Ken Burns for the first time since the early '90's. I remembered this series because I've found myself becoming interested in the Victorian period as of late.

    If I had to pick one girl from the golden era

    When I would visit Dad as a teenager he would sometimes have the TV tuned to an old movie on Saturday mornings. One of the "Blondie" movies would be showing occasionally and I think to myself how pretty Penny Singleton was.
