    It does take on different hues. When I first got the hat and posted photos, some folks couldn't even tell it was green... but that was also under crummy lighting for a quick "here's what I got, better pics later!" type of thing.

    I personally would never attempt cutting a brim with scissors. I can barely cut a straight line on a piece of paper without effort, would hate to think what would happen to a brim in my hands! :eeek: Now if I had a rounding jack, or form to follow, it'd be different. Randy
