My daughter took the photo...
I was trying to make it look like my avatar as much as I could.
Thanks for the complement, I'm glad you got to see me! ;)
I had a Beaver Brand hat back in the 70s. It was a silver belly 3 1/4 brimmed western hat. It had a sort of 'loose teardrop' crown. It was very nice soft felt with very little stiffener. Great sweat band with a celluloid band behind it. I wor it for about ten years and it finally ended up...
Don't let my looks fool you, Quig...
I'm a natural born killer...back in the day, that is...
My daughter, who is an artist, took that profile and turned it into a pencil portrait...it was unbelievable. She added the shadowing and shading like in my avatar. It was exactly what I...
My first thought was Sratoliner.
But the more I studied I caould tell the band was too wide. But with his facination with planes, one would think he would have a Strat or two.
I tried to add a little "noir", kinda like my avatar. This is the Gray Herringbone Biltmore Bob Special...no wire in the bill, seam centered, no snap.
Anyone with photoshop who is willing to try...I'd like the full face photo to sort of resemble my current avatar.
Welcome, there Cowboy...I wouldn't let it bother you too much...ever go to a dance hall and dance with a lady and keep your hat on. Everybody here in Texas does it...'specially the Mexicans.
Nobody gives a rat's red behind anymore. Plus if I take it off I'll forget it, sit on it, or it...
Leave it on...
...nobody really cares anyway. Hopefully Jesus will return for his people any day now and I won't have to worry about wearing my hats indoors.
Lots of Cowboys in Florida...
Their beef industry rivals Texas...
Those grips look too shiny to be ivory. I new a WV Trooper that had MOP grips back in the day. On closer inspection the grip looks cracked too. Probably MOP.
