Stuart Scott needs a different hat!

I'm watching the ESPN New Years' special. The host is Stuart Scott, and he's wearing a reasonably tasteful fedora with about a 2" brim.

Problems: the brim is poorly shaped, it appears the hat is turned slightly off-center (or the crown is also in need of shaping), and he's wearing a very dark overcoat (black with with dark grey lapels) with a pearl grey hat. If he had a darker fedora...or at least one that's better set up...it would look much more dapper and complement the look better. I should give him credit for wearing a tie with black and grey stripes, so there is some color coordination.

Score: +2 for wearing a fedora. -1 for wearing the wrong one, poorly styled.

Anyone else catch this?

I saw him with that hat too. It looked kida askew...I think he just didn't have it centered on his gourd properly. He needed a wider brim too.

It's real hard to look good in a brim that's too small for your face.

A properly chosen and worn hat usually makes a man look very "cool"; a poorly chosen or poorly worn hat just makes him look like a dork.

I saw the same hat. Either he wasn't wearing it centered, or it's a Stetson. Every Stetson I've owned has been blocked slightly off-center.
