    I saw Rory up close with a trio at a small club in Washinton DC in the late 80's. The trio took two breaks while Rory played the entire three and a half hour show. Electric blues and rock, Delta slide on an ancient National Duolean, and madolin. That man was a force of nature.

    I'd wear that beauty w/o hesitation. Room to spare for layering if you like, and in my opinion the sleeves will stack up slightly too with a little time.

    Just personal preference MrF, but I much prefer Types I and II, and seeing alternatives such as yours. IIIs are just too... everywhere. Not that there's anything wrong with that. Wear it in good health!

    Engelshaar, lol. Try .10-.52 on the bass. Better bass response, better intonation, they last longer and also make transitioning to an acoustic guitar much easier with better left hand strength.
