If the double walled version doesn't work then I'm not interested either. I have a steel coffee carafe that's double walled and I can fill it with ice tea, leave it in the blazing sun while I mow the yard and the ice doesn't even melt. I was hoping that this would work that well...oh well.[huh]
For some reason I had the feeling that they put it on the inside ankle as maybe a "wear" spot that gets more punishment? My theory has no basis in any scientific evidence though.
