    I am very partial to both cities. I was born and raised in SF, but live in and love LA equally. When I think of noir though, I always think of Los Angeles, maybe because it makes me think of Raymond Chandler, maybe because of the many Art Deco era buildings here, there are not that many in SF.

    I found a great 1920's piece like this, it came from Its a Wrap in Burbank and came from Warner Bros costuming depeartment, the top part is like a slip/cami and then bottom part is like a skirt, its pretty long, maybe about four or five inches past the knee.

    I'd have to say I agree, if I had an old house, it would be completely decked out in antiques. I am kind of doing the opposite in mine, my apartment is newer (midcentury, built in '51), but inside you would think you would have stepped in to the 1930's.
