I've earlier mentioned my dad's first car -- an Auburn Boat Tail Speedster.
This is him lounging on his Oldsmobile Custom Cruiser 98 in either 1946 or 1947:
I fantasize about trying to find one in an identical two-tone green for myself. (All of dad's cars were either dark green or black.)
Guy Pearce. I wouldn't have thought of him, but... dang. I could see that. I agree that I'd think of him more as a good villain guy, but then Bogie used to be a "good villain guy" until lightning struck. Depp isn't bad for that role, but the problem is, his "drunk and dissolute" act is already...
Remember when "a season" of shows was 26 (or more!) episodes, each with only ONE rerun PER YEAR? Now we have shows with ten or 12 episodes in a season, and they're rerun seemingly randomly forever. It's really easy to lose interest in a show when there's no new material or you have to wait eight...

"I just feel kind of... invincible."
"Everybody relax, I'm here."
"We really shook the pillars of heaven, didn't we, Wang?"
I almost forgot my favorite:
"Son of a bitch must pay!"
My favorite Bond flick of all time is "Goldfinger", followed by "From Russia With Love". They're just as perfect as it can be. Gadgets, but not overwhelming, unrealistic gadgets. (The "invisible car" in... which -- "Tomorrow Never Dies"? "Die Another Day"? -- was just horrible.) The villains...
I love Doc Savage. Even enjoyed (through squinted eyes) the movie, more or less.
I had no idea there was a convention. Hm. I've been wanting to visit Arizona anyway...
Gin (Hendricks. Yum!) and tonic. Hendricks seems infused with cucumber (!) so I don't squeeze a lime wedge into it.
Another new one I have: 2 oz spiced rum and 4 oz of Dr. Pepper. I call it "Capt. Morgan Pepper, PhD." :)
I don't think I've introduced Mr. Bobo. I've had him for four months now-- he's an 8-year-old shelty/golden rescue. He's the most chill dog ever. All he wants is to be in the same room with me. :)
