I wear my VS hats often when I go to Paris and they never fail to turn heads and get admiring glances! I was just at the Place de la Republique to-day in the middle of a big crowd of striking unionists wearing my Silver Mist thin-ribbon.
Our first really warm day here this year, so I'm wearing my Campdraft. It's 2 3/4" brim is good protection from that harsh Northern European sun lol lol lol
I also removed the liner, which is easy to do, and that really makes a difference in the coolness factor.
My new VS summer fedora in Mojave light-weight felt with a 2 3/8 inch brim. This one actually arrived a few weeks ago while I was on vacation but I couldn't post pictures at the time. It got some wear in the States where it was pretty warm, but it'll be a few weeks before I can wear it here...
