    Out Your Back Door

Since the Wise One has been around, Mr. Hawk and family haven't been seen. The new guy (or gal) has been around our house for a couple of months now. He is very bold, sitting in trees, on fences, on the ground, and everywhere, watching for the ever present Chip and Dale and family members.

Which After Shave for a Summer Holiday?

In my youth, I always used British Sterling, of English Leather. Still have some of the original scents, but they are near the end of their useful life, as am I.

    Harbor Freight tool cart modification

I have been thinking of putting a big red cross on it and loading it with bandaids.

What do you do for Living?

Just now, I am working at training my new dog, a blend of a Husky Mom, and a Treeing Walker Coon Hound Dad. In a prior life, I spent 50 years working construction, dealing with mechanical problems, inept engineers and fellow tradesmen who really didn't care about the work at hand.

    Harbor Freight tool cart modification

For sometime now, I have wanted to do a modification on a Harbor Freight four or five drawer mechanic's tool cart. I saw a video online of a guy doing exactly what I wanted to do. So, when Harbor Freight recently put the carts on sale for 80 bucks off, I jumped on the deal and bought two of...

    Old Department Stores

Back in the fifties, Japan was shipping bunches of cheap goods to the U.S.A. with "made in USA" printed on everything. Turns out, they had a city named USA in Japan just to fool the buyers here in the States.

    Old Department Stores

In my youth, there were several nice Department Stores in downtown Cleveland, Ohio. The May Company, Higbees, Halle Brothers, and Taylors. This was before shopping malls so you had to go downtown to shop there. Of course, Sears Roebuck, Federals and JC Penney were alive and well in the...

Taking inventory after the Holiday festivities.......

Everyone wants their piece of the pie. I remember Netflix only costing $4.95 a month. I think it just went up to $17.95 a month. FX is are, but FX+ is not, and that has all the stuff I want to watch. My Version Fios bill is now approaching a couple of hundred a month.

Bridge Collapse in Frick Park, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

I agree. Today, I learned that in Pennsylvania, bridge inspections and the reports there-of are deliberately kept SECRET from the public. This is state law. Sounds much like a conspiracy to keep the people the dark and risking their lives needlessly when they may be in danger.

    Clean Jokes

It is a mixed-up world we live in. I bought a new TV, just to watch people I dislike more vividly.

Bridge Collapse in Frick Park, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

The infrastructure bill didn't come in time for this one. No one was killed.

With this, you and I are in complete agreement. I am also an advocate of using narcan to repeatedly rescue the same drug addicts should be discontinued. You get one at bat. After that, you have struck out.

Taking inventory after the Holiday festivities.......

I agree, whole-heartedly. Unfortunately, not watching, reading or researching leaves one uninformed as to what is happening to humanity. There seems to be no doubt that the virus has helped to further divide humanity. Believers and non-believers will not change in the near future. Recently...

Taking inventory after the Holiday festivities.......

Well, there was a bit of an insurrection a year ago. Murders are up in most cities, the nation is as divided as it was prior to the Civil War, illegal drug sales can not be stopped, ammunition costs are prohibitive, if you can find any to purchase. So, yes, I do believe there is a problem...

    Clean Jokes

When it has to be explained, it loses it's humorous intent. Too bad. I saw it first as a DAD joke. I thought it funny enough without the pictures.

Taking inventory after the Holiday festivities.......

In Los Angeles, California, people are raiding container trains, both moving and stationary, ripping them open, throwing the contents on thee ground and absolutely shredding everything just too find something to resell or keep. The USA is quickly becoming a nation without morals. Forget an...
