I usually wear a suit every day. I actually enjoy it, thanks to well-cut suits. I don't have to, "business casual" would suffice, but I like to go that extra distance.
The downside is that they tend to wear quickly.
With the off-the-rack pap that passes as a suit nowadays, I can see...
Amanda was kind enough to send me over several pics of the linings they have available, I'll mull it over this evening and make my choice.
My only other big decision is now the colour... and the sizing!
I'm torn between the Cordovan and Brown, and I think I'm inclined towards the latter...
Thanks guys for the helpful responses.
I like the reputation of alpaca, but I have to admit that the Rod Stewart-esque tartan looks the business.
I've e-mailed Aero with some other questions, and as soon as they're back to me I'll be ordering that jacket.
I can't wait.
Hi all,
Now that I'm about to order the dream jacket for myself from Aero, Mrs. Matei asked me if any of these companies make high-quality leather outerwear for the ladies?
It is one thing to order a tiny size from a manufacturer like Aero, but if they're not accustomed to making womens...
I've actually not been wearing a hat as of late, because the length & volume of my barnet has cause my hat size to go up!
So... until I actually get a proper haircut (or get some 7 1/2'' hats), the hats are sitting quietly in their boxes.
Aero lining - alpaca or otherwise for the Barnstormer?
Hi all,
I've been doing some research prior to ordering an Aero Barnstormer, and I can't quite decide on the lining.
I've heard that the alpaca lining insultes well, yet doesn't add a lot of bulk to the jacket, however I also read...
Clooney's jacket in "Leatherheads"?
Hi all,
Begging pardon if this has already been addressed, but would any of ye know who supplied George Clooney's jacket in "Leatherheads"?
I don't have a better image, but it appears to be a 3/4 length, belt-backed jacket similar to what Aero...
Hiya MK - how is the AxeFX working out for you? I've heard nothing but rave reviews about it...
Warbaby - that has got to be one of the most unique electric guitars I've ever seen. Very cool...
Burnsie - I second the opinion, that is a sweet looking Guild.
I would have to say that...
Back when I was a gigging musician, I started off with an extra guitar or two as backups of my main axe. As we grew as musicians and explored different tunings, I would use yet another for that.
Guitars can be pretty fragile things (even my Les Pauls, which may weigh a ton but have well...
Nice thread, and great to see another Gretsch fan on the forum!
Here are some of my geetars... Starting with my favourite guitar of all time, my Gretsch G6120SHTV, a.k.a. "Tequila Gold". I've played and owned all sorts of guitars, from uber-expensive to ultra cheap, and this guitar was the...
Hi all,
It just so happens that Marks & Sparks had a big sale yesterday. Went down and tried a few suits on.
Liked the materials, didn't like the cut. Oh well... I really wanted to though.
The armholes gave me serious trouble. I literally couldn't raise my hands above waist level...
