    Post New Hats Here!

I think it's two angles: 1. The angle at which we're wearing our hats. I have my tilted back more than Bob does. 2. The angle at which the pics are taken. Mine is taken at a lower angle than Bob's. His is more straight-on. I'm actually wearing mine as I type. (Breaking it in.) It's a...

This is the Miller Hats Milan teardrop (No. 73) in cocoa. It's a 2 5/8 brim, which is only 1/8 larger than the Stetson Retro (2 1/2), but it looks and feels quite a bit larger. The hat band also has some green tones to it, which I like. Depending on the light, it can look very green. I...

I was very pleased with the selection at Delmonico. They had everything from the low end price (like the Stetson Retro) to high end Borsalinos, etc. Also, they had my order in the mail within 24 hours of its placement. Overall, I was very pleased.

    Snapping a Straw Brim

I decided against a Capricorn for two reasons: 1. I read about the plastic. Thanks for the info on its look. I was afraid it would look fake. 2. The only one I could find was at Strand Hatters - for $70 with shipping. I'm not paying that for a plastic hat.

How 'bout that, Bob. My milan teardrop from Miller came today too (see above). I wanted pearl, but they were out. I debated between the gray and the cocoa. I went with the cocoa because the gray was a little darker shade than what I wanted. Looks good on you, though. Both of you look great...

Yes, it's cocoa. They were out of pearl in everything, so I switched to cocoa. The band is an interesting greenish tan.

Miller Hats teardrop milan Two days, two hats. And should have my Fed IV by Saturday. That's a pretty good week. Got home to find my milan straw from Miller Hats came in. Some other folks on FL recommended these. I like the look. Question: how are these milan straw hats for...

    Stetson Weston

Good to know, Lefty. I just got a teardrop milan from Miller Hats in today. Looks like a pretty good hat. I'll see how this one works out before I buy another milan.

    Snapping a Straw Brim

I've been looking at a Capricorn, but not sure about the artificial straw. Anyone have any thoughts or feedback? My other option is a Stetson Weston, which is a Milan straw.

Ebay Hats: Victories, Defeats, Gripes & Items of Interest

Lucky for two of us, Jimmy. I was second-high bid on that hat. I rejected the second-chance offer because of it being a re-done Homburg. Hope Number Three reads your post . . .:eusa_doh:

    Snapping a Straw Brim

I'm going to take J.J.'s advice and pinch it between some books and the wall. I've been working it by hand all afternoon. It's beginning to take.

Okay, I Can Take It... Me in a Homburg

IMHO, this is a good look. Makes me want to rethink Homburgs.
