This is the Miller Hats Milan teardrop (No. 73) in cocoa. It's a 2 5/8 brim, which is only 1/8 larger than the Stetson Retro (2 1/2), but it looks and feels quite a bit larger. The hat band also has some green tones to it, which I like. Depending on the light, it can look very green. I... -

I was very pleased with the selection at Delmonico. They had everything from the low end price (like the Stetson Retro) to high end Borsalinos, etc. Also, they had my order in the mail within 24 hours of its placement. Overall, I was very pleased. -
Snapping a Straw Brim
I decided against a Capricorn for two reasons: 1. I read about the plastic. Thanks for the info on its look. I was afraid it would look fake. 2. The only one I could find was at Strand Hatters - for $70 with shipping. I'm not paying that for a plastic hat. -
