I too used to bite my nails (my toenails were left alone by me though). About... oh... eight or so months ago I just stopped biting them. I don't know what happened, I just decided "I'm done" and that was that. I love my nails now. I think a lot of it had to do with you gals here! I wanted...
I was just coming on here to tell you gals about this suit! Beautiful, I feel fabulous in it. Mine is black, though! The only problem I have is it's a liiitttlee tight (I bought one size too small, oops!) and I have a hard time with support. I have to tie it very tight around my neck (I usually...
I'll need to find someone who can take photos of me... I think all my friends would find it strange, but maybe if I offer to take pictures of one of my girlfriends first... Hmmm...
I would like to buy some stockings before the shoot. :)
Annie, I can't wait to see some pin-up shots of you! I've been thinking about taking my own recently since I got a book on old pin-ups and things, but I'm not sure if I want to just yet. But looking at others do it is so much fun!
And all you ladies look lovely!
This is really cute! I just bought a pattern from wal-mart that looks like this a bit (the little bows at the top of the arms). I'm glad this one looks so good on you, I'm very encouraged right now!
I only really have two, as most of the time I decide on a book-by-book basis.
Mark Twain- I can't describe why I love him. I just do.
Ray Bradbury- I really just love his stuff! I haven't read a story by him I don't like, actually. My sophomore class in high school had to read some of his...
I wore the dress in my avatar to my local mall one day (I was very excited about my new crinoline and I wanted to show my friend). I got a few looks, but nothing incredibly insulting, and I felt very beautiful and self-confident in it. I also wore it to school for my Senior Project. I got looks...
My hair takes a very long time to dry. I'd say about four hours? Maybe three, if it's very hot outside. Is anybody else's hair this slow in drying? I generally just kind of pull half of it back and mousse it. My curls are sort of wavy/curly. Is that authentic enough? I saw in an Indiana Jones...
My main problem is, is even if I set my hair and go to bed, in the morning my hair is still damp (Damp enough that it feels as if I've just toweled my hair after getting out from the shower)... Do any of you naturally curly girls have this problem? I tried sleeping on pin curls to no avail...
Darhling, we have the exact same hair! Mine is naturally curly and refuses to set at all. Not to mention if I brush it when it's dry, it gets all static-y and huuuge. lol I love Victory Rolls, but mine always end up really big!
I have naturally curly hair, and I've tried many different methods, but it seems to fight every single one of them. I've even slept in curlers to no avail. It refuses to cooperate! But I could be doing it wrong. In any case, I usually just give up on setting it, because I'm afraid of ruining it...
