Buzz Rickson makes a nice N2A and in the same blue as my L2A - it looks fantastic in these photos:

Of course, it won't come cheaply … but there it is.
Alas, it seems not. Here's another:

And this one shows as sold out!
I don't know fellas. It makes me realize just why I'm in health care and not marketing. I just cannot see it.
Hi guys,
Just got a notification of the new line of ELMC products …
I had a look at a "murse" (which struck me as an odd choice to include in the line up) … and nearly sprayed my monitor with coffee when I saw the price.

Have just done as Robrinay suggested and had a look-see at the other threads … (great idea, btw).
Man, the guy needs to take a pill. Seriously dude. That and leave.
Well, I must say in all honesty that either an L2 or L2-A would make the perfect choice for you, considering the milder Aussie climate …
Oh. Is that not helping your resistance here?
;-)
Thanks Thor!
And I see you've changed the photo on your avatar, there … there was water behind you before! And hey, nice ACME Thunderer whistle! ;-)
Cheers, mate!
The base price was US$430.
But then there was USPS shipping + taxes and duties at my end (groan)… hence the Ker-Ching!
But the sting is temporary and the jacket remains. :)
PS. And thanks for all the compliments, fellas! I appreciate that.
Thanks Sloan … and yes, let's see that L2-B please. It's amazing how this L2-A has piqued my interest in other nylon jackets - an interest that was only passing at best before.
Ha!Ha!Ha! Thanks, man! Thanks for the compliments.
And coincidentally, I've just got my first suit in 10 years the other week (what can I say? It's scrubs by day and my jackets after that) - I'll check the size and let you know tomorrow, Doctor.
Hi guys,
So at last, a couple of months later than I'd hoped, I can present my latest addition: my new Buzz Rickson L2-A.
This is what happens when you watch The Hunters! (Ker-Ching!)
I apologise for the photos - especially after the recent thread with various opinions on how best to take...
Wow! Another amazing find. I don't know how you do it, BN! I'd love one like that - in a medium. Just can't find anything out there … you seem to have all the luck!
And after a mild spell, it'll be just 3C and wintry showers for hallowe'en tonight here. I was going to dress up in my usual...
Welcome aboard …
Well, I don't use Photobucket or Shutterfly or any such wonder of this technological age - I'm a vinyl kind of guy and I love my vintage hifi, if you know what I mean. I'm not a complete computer pigmy, but I'm no whizz with a computer, believe me. That's what Helpdesk is for...
