Anyone else can't bring themselves to wear vintage/used shoes ?....
If the shoes are good shape I'll go for them. Not sure why I'd want to spend large on office wear. Wearing a nice pair of Florsheim gunboats right now. $6 at the goodwill. They fit great and look like new. They're $275 in the Florsheim store just round the corner.- Talbot

The Fifth Wheel
Stability issues might be worth considering as well. With the 5th wheel extended the car would be free to 'float' at the rear with the front suspension for stability. Did the wheel have a brake fitted? Might not be a biggie, but I could see some interesting control combinations for unskilled...- Talbot

I have had luck recently on silk necktie stains with baby wipes. Dry cleaning and oxy clean didn't work, but baby wipes seemed to do the trick. Try the non scented variety on a small area first.- Talbot

Loungers' Pets
Nitro is so named for his unstable and explosive nature - I'm reluctant to pet him. He plays hell with the wild rosellas and lorikeets in the yard. I think the frogmouth might surprise him yet. For some reason, Georgie has the better of him. Reminds me of a mid century Warner Bros. cartoon!- Talbot
