I noticed that as well. I wish there was an exclusive leather jacket design for us automotive guys... motorcycle guys get all the nice leather goodies. :D
That's great news! :)
EDIT: The site looks GREAT! However I just read the sad news that the site and new logo is dedicated to the person that designed the site and logo, however that person died in a road crash before the site was finished so sadly he never got to see his finished work...
LOL... you and I must be on the same jacket timeclock or something... our first jackets were ordered and arrived around the same time, and now our 2nd jackets will be doing the same, haha! :D
Sorry for me confusing you with someone else. Though if your wife and daughter ever find out your jacket is HH, simply tell them these 2 things to avoid them killing you:
1) The law here in the U.S. is that the horse must be dead of natural causes before their hide can be taken from them...
Yeah, with the angle of my steering wheel as you can see in my picture below, I definitely would have issues with the jacket zipper potentially scratching the clearcoat on my carbon fiber accents...
I'm going to take a guess here, my friend, and guess that your next Aero jacket is another Windward since I know you like that style of jacket? ;)
Can't wait to see your next jacket (I've actually lost count of how large your Aero leather jacket collection is now, LOL) :D
I feel the same way as you, John except the reverse... cows being sacred in my parents native country of India, I actually prefer using horsehide to cowhide. :D
Was it you who said a while back that your wife wouldn't approve of you owning a horsehide jacket so you didn't tell her yours is a...
Thanks for the clarification... so the label says that the interior is made of Alpaca? I don't think I've ever seen that label before... from a distance I can sort of make out the picture of an alpaca animal.
I laughed when you said the label in the pocket says "CF". To me, whenever I see...
Your jacket looks beautiful, bro! I honestly wouldn't worry about the one arm being smooth while the other one isn't. Keep in mind that as your jacket ages, the patina that develops won't develop in a symmetrical way so you'll be fine... besides, I really like how one arm is different than the...
Love your Schott 141 jacket, Ron! I was actually going to get that jacket initially, which is how I stumbled upon this site where I first discovered Aero Leather, so I went the Aero route instead for my leather jacket purchase.
How do you find the placement of the zippers on the arm cuffs...
Forgot to ask you... I noticed an extra label on the inside of your jacket in between the Aero label and the horsehide label... what does it say? Also, who made your jacket? Moira made mine.
Beautiful jacket, Dav!! I'm so happy for you, bro. It's great to finally picture a face with your screen name, and the jacket definitely looks great on you.
Funny thing... you and I ordered and received our jackets around the same time (though I ordered thru Mark at Aeroleather USA)... I...
Hey... I'm interested in your jeans and will shoot you an email momentarily. How deep are the front pockets? Some jeans have front pockets that aren't deep enough and will barely fit your whole hand in them... I prefer deeper pockets myself so the stuff I put in my pockets don't fall out. :)...
Love the jacket and the cool artwork! Welcome to the site here. You are so correct about how the site is going to cost you a lot of money as you learn about jackets by manufacturers you hadn't heard of before... I definitely fall into that category and got swept in to the Aero leather jacket...
