Thanks. It is a rather unusual logo. At first I thought it might have some relationship to the cigarette company but the logos are different. The only reference to Chesterfield Hats I could find on the lounge was a picture of a Chesterfield hat box somebody posted several years ago. It didn't...
Chesterfield Adventure Hat
Tom,
Here is another one for your list. It is not exactly an Open Road style hat because of the western style 3-cord ribbon but the bow and dimensions are very close. This is a recent Ebay acquisition. I can't find much information about Chesterfield Hats but this...
Tom,
That's a great looking hat. I was watching that one too but was afraid it was way too big for me. If it turns out to be too small for you keep me in mind. I doubt it will be though because the Seller said he wears a 7 7/8 but could wear it. I'm looking forward to seeing pictures of it...
I agree. That is a very unique and cool hat like it is. If you want something different just buy a new Akubra and bash it the way you want. Brand new, shipped from Australia to you they are only around $150.00. That is hard to beat for a new open crown hat.

I have quite a few Campdrafts and most of mine came with those dents too. My experience has been much the same as Rusty's. The dents will go away after it is creased. Especially if you are going to stretch it a bit for a long oval.
Tom,
It fits over the edge of the brim, then you push down a small lever that deploys a razor blade. You just hold it up against the edge of the brim and go all the way around. If you go slowly and maintain a constant pressure when it gets back to the starting point the excess brim will just...
I have both a Squatter and a Fed IV. Both are nice hats but I like the Fed IV better. I prefer the straight sided crowns on them.
Below is a link to a brim trimmer. They come in a 1/2" and 1/8". Get the 1/8" and you can take off as much as you want 1/8" at a time. One of the best hat tool...
