Scott, Do you just use a needle and thread or do you use a sewing awl? I think I might have had better luck if I had used a sewing awl. I have used those before on leather and I would think with a smaller needle they would work great for a sweatband. -

Tom, I just prefer to wait and bid at the end of the auction. If I place a bid with EBay it is immediately entered into the auction and can not be retracted. Using a sniper program I can cancel it prior to the time it is set to be entered into the auction if I find something else I like better. -

Alan, Great hat! When I first saw it on EBay I had a feeling you would be watching it :) Do you think the "Tailored Edge" has to do with the sweatband rather than the brim? The brim doesn't look like it has had anything special done to it. -

I don't see any problems with using a sniping program. The program just does exactly what I would do if I was sitting in front of the keyboard. Before I started using one I lost quite a few items because I wasn't available at the end of the auction to place a bid. Now I don't have to worry about... -
