I love my Buzz Rickson L2-A for summer. It's very light and comfy. The L2 is too. But Gary at ELC once told me that their A-1 is also perfect for European summers …so BN has it right on, I'd say.- Stand By

Patch placement on MA-1 jackets?
I have a bunch of Buzz Rickson's catalogues and they always have appropriately patched up MA-1s and L-2s etc etc and they change each them year. They'd be a good resource for placement.- Stand By

Just googled Unit 731and done some quick reading … now I totally get the anger and revulsion at Dugout Doug! Ho. Lee. $hit!!! I had NO idea …. and there's so much to read on Unit 731 (and the photos … Jesus!!!) and I know that the more I do, the more unforgivable and damning I will find both... -

Vaseline?! Wow … that's a new one! Imagine the water repellency after that!!! Probably an old Coastal Command tip! :) Lots of people swear by mink oil too, though. And it's incongruous that the Germans are seen to both admit and atone for what they did and teach their own inglorious part of history in their own schools - while they don't do much of either in Japan, if at all. I've always found that odd. -

I know, right?! So it continually amazes me that these holocaust-deniers are even out there and even have conferences (as Iran did) and claim that the numbers are grossly exaggerated and are only in the tens or hundreds of thousands, not millions. As if. The evidence is right there. Nobody... -
