Hello Everyone,
Ive learned ALOT browsing this site. The one thing seems to stand out is that Aero Leathers of Scotland make some of the most desirable leathers. But the new ones are a bit out of my range. This one on Ebay is my size, is it a good deal at this price? whats it really worth? or should I keep looking?

Thank you all for the education and the advice

It's an OK to pretty good price. Just be sure of your measurements. If you watch the site long enough, you'll get a feel for what they go for.

Welcome to the FL, bkarma!
I'd say it's a fair price - but remember that you generally get what you pay for with jackets.
But this isn't the first and only nice jacket that's out there. A big part of getting a good jacket is the thrill of the hunt, so if you're not completely certain, let it go and keep watching, as Guppy says. The longer you wait and research, the more you'll have a better idea of worth.
Good hunting!

BKarma, Good day! I am new here myself.
The first Aero ever I had was a long half belt and I really liked it.
If you were in Europe, it would be a good price. If you were to incur import duties and VAT it starts to look expensive.

There is quite a trade in used Aeros and part of the enjoyment is checking them out. Be sure of your measurements. The two areas where I have gone wrong in the past is sleeve length and chest. The chest measurement is difficult because of the side panels. You cannot measure seam to seam. If you are asking for measurements ask the seller to measure to the middle of the side panels.

Best of luck

I love Aero jackets, I have six, but you're a size 38 right?
I think that you'll be spoilt for choice if you hunt around for a second hand jacket.

Is the chest width quite big for a 38”? I mean almost 24” – 48” Or is it normal with Aero? My size 42 BK jacket has a chest width of 22,25” or 44,5”.

I would ask the seller whether or not the jacket pictured is the one being sold, because to me that looks like the old screen pics that Aero used to show on their web site - the back images are the give away on that. I have an LHB and it's one of my favourite Aero jackets: three years on, people still comment favourably on it. It has a real 'action hero' feel when I throw it on.

Well, the pictures of the back show clearly it is not the normal LHB, no "action-back". Price seems ok, so if you want a longer jacket and the measures are yours, try it.

I didn't even think of these important points, once again I learned something.
