Oooh! Sounds mighty promising! :)
I don't look at the new Dr Who season at all at this point, saving it for the DVD release (so I can enjoy it as intended, namely commercial-free!), so I'm staying away from all reviews and news until then - but this really sounds like something to look forward...
Heroes - season 3.
Great!
I'd seen Heroes - Season 1 on DVD a few years after it aired and LOVED it. But I was told by a friend that it all went downhill after that. Even Sheldon said the same on Big Bang Theory, so I never bothered going beyond that.
But recently, someone at work said it...
"Beast Of No Nation" - saw it premiered on Saturday as part of TIFF (Toronto International Film Festival).
Fantastic. It stars Idris Elba (who is brilliant), but really, the lead child actor steals the show - he's amazing. He has such a great range and was so completely convincing, I forgot he...
Once upon a time, our neighbourhood was a golf course - and then, with the end of WWII and all the returning servicemen, it was sold and 1 1/2 storey houses built on it. Many of the natural ravines were filled in, but we got ours backing on to one of the remaining ones - and that brings a huge...
I just watched Doctor Who and "The Enemy of the World" - seen again for the first time since 1967 as all the copies were presumably destroyed or lost - and this one (and the following story, The Moonbase) turned up in a cupboard in Africa after 48 years!

I look forward to listening to that link whilst I work and I'm sure I'll enjoy it … thanks for posting.
I've always thought of Disney and Warner Bros. as being like Pepsi or Coke - although both are the best, people seem to prefer the look of one over the other - and I've always just prefered...
You're not kidding about El Niño and folks deciding they want an ANJ-4 too late. I heard on a TV report that the stats for this current one are equal to the previously highest-recorded one whereby Britain got one belter of a winter …
I never regretted lashing out on my Irvin and B-3. Sure, it...
Nothing wrong with the sleeves from where I'm sitting, Grayland … and it looks simply fantastic. I'd be thrilled with that jacket and fit.
Good one!
Thanks for posting.
If I was into the Facebook thing, I'd click Like as well!
It's sharp, different, historically correct, very cool in design - and well done!
What's not to "Like" ?!?! :)
Precisely, Otter. I recall reading one news article (around 2000-2005? A good while now...) about how someone in England with ground-penetrating radar had found 5 o6 6 perfectly preserved Lancaster bombers - just their wings removed at the wing roots but lain beside the fuselages and they were...
As we were taking about nazi uniforms and such, I just saw this article.
I will confess that I have no idea who this "celebrity" is (never heard of her before), but apparently I can only presume that she is someone enough to have made it onto Celebrity Big Brother.
Anyway, get a load of her...
