    Thank you all for these. Elsie was my Grandmothers name - so its on the list. My personal favorite 'Winthrop' - my wife isnt convinced! She is keen on Marlon and Arthur. Also like Bertie and Hazel - nice ring to them. Looking forward to more ideas. Thanks

    My wife and I are expecting in April next year and are trying to find a good vintage name for the new bub. As a "Godfrey" I'm already on the path to the Vintage name hall of fame. So looking for something uncommon but pleasant - evoking the Golden era. Suggestions very welcome!

    Millers Crossing theme by Carter Burwell. I think the theme was inspired by a traditional tune the Limerick Lament. Similar sound in the first section. Haunting and beautiful! When ever I'm walking through trees feeling melancholy I think of it.

    I had a nice trip to work on a Tram (streetcar). Pretty plain pin stripe suit, vintage style duchamp tie, hat, and umbrella. Vintage-ish but hardly top hat, morning coat, and a plackard reading.     A few of mine 20 cents of mixed sweets would leave you feeling sick and bloated! Toys came twice a year. Christmas and birthday. Everything else was made or imagined. everyone was really tall.

    I've had "Roland" for a while. I convinced my kid sister when she was about five that I had a evil twin called Roland.
