I backed the olive, but am nervous about the size. Theoretically the M should fit, but the web is awash with stories of Gustin coming up small, whether it's jeans or shirts.
I've already wasted money on too-small jeans, and have a larger pair incoming, but amn't taking any more chances until...
Interesting. It's a great jacket and this is the first one I've seen on a human, other than the one I tried on. I'd say an inch or so longer would help, but given that you're a bit shorter than the standard 5' 10"-11", you would seem to have the designed length.
The belt would need a couple...
I had the leather Panther and the difference between the toughness spiel and the actual leather was laughable. I also had the heavy waxed cotton Che Guevara (as opposed to the thinner, cheaper, much more common Roadmaster), which looked the same as the Panther, and much preferred the Che.
I don't mind seeing a complaints thread as long as the manufacturer gets a fair and frank right to reply.
I gather some customers can be demanding, to say the least, and that there are two sides to every story.
Having said that, rippsnorter seems to fall under the two-regime cock-up camp...
rippsnorter, you seem to have the patience of a saint, waiting 5 months for a refund. I'd have given them 2 weeks, then unleashed the forces of Mordor to get my money back. Over 2 weeks tends to indicate a dodgy company or that something has gone missing and needs chasing or sorting. I know...

Nice sweater, Don Tomaso. This is a good thread for this type of woollen jumper: http://www.thefedoralounge.com/showthread.php?52133-Fishermen-s-sweaters-site
I bought two Sou' West Chunkies, similar to your Black Sheep one, because of that thread.
Thanks for all the kind words guys. The sun is out in Edinburgh, so here are some outdoor shots, which are more representative of the cordovan. Starting with the DB:
And now the Wool HB:
Thanks to all, guys. Sloan, I have you to thank for the DB. When I tried yours on at our mini-meet, it just felt better than the HWM, so I was happy to ditch one for the other.
No matter how much I beg, please don't let me try on your Irvin. :) I need to calm it down a bit.
Thanks Fanch. To be fair to Insurrection, the fit jacket idea is worth it's weight in gold. I've lost £650 just trading in two jackets I fairly quickly decided were too big. I spent quite a while at Aero going backwards and forwards between a 38 and 40 DB, before going for the 38, as that gave...
