I did buy them in double E's, and after much careful choosing how and when (if I am retaining fluid or not) I wear them, at least 6 hours or so a clip, they are finally coming around, pheeew. Plenty of toe space no problem there.
PLEASE!!!! Tell me the best way to break these in. I bought a pair almost a year ago and its been pain and misery ever since. They fit there is no doubt but, my feet are wide and once they relax, my right foot in particular, well it rubs pretty much where my little toe "knuckle" juts out. no...
Thanks guys that's kind of what I have gotten into, (a few hours around the house here and there) only trouble is I usually wear them with with cargo shorts, summer heat and all, and my wife has gotten into the habit of calling me "Jethro" can't figure that one out, hmmmm?
Greetings been a while since I have asked a question here. How does one go about keeping the edge of the ribbon from starting to curl or what is the problem causing this? It's one of my more $$ lids and the ribbon is cotton rayon blend 1 15/16th from what I can tell. The maker is a sponsor here...
Another comment about my IRON RANGERS. I truly love these boots, the craftmanship, the fit, the style, the ""IT" Factor. The thing I am NOT impressed with is the brutal "break in" period. It's been a long time since my last experience with one of these, I forgot how much I "like" this.
Man.....you guy's are hard on my budget, BUT in a good way. I'm the old dawg, new tricks character you hear about. First the world of fedora's, the taller the crown the better, NOW Red Wing IRON RANGERS particularly the 8111's. Still in the break in period, but I'm loving these things. Wonderful...

Well I spent a couple hours this past Saturday morning spritzing distilled water and shaping this "baby" pretty much the way I wanted it. Eventually some photos WILL filter their way here (I can't bring myself to pose for photos wearing my hats) I have to say it turned out pretty decent...
Hmmm, well the hat showed up yesterday, WITHOUT anymore tracking updates available. Weird...... Anyhow, Wow GREAT HAT. I cannot believe all the more I paid for it, the quality. I am planning on making this my "go to ball cap" . I'll say one thing you guys are brutally honest in your reviews ...
They say there are no "stupid" questions forgive me if this is the first. I took the plunge and bought a Federation IV from the Hattery on 1/9/16. It shipped that day and arrived in New York on the 14th..........pretty much end of story. Heres the question....Is this normal? I have purchased...
WELL!! i just joined the Fed IV club, now the wait. I am anxious to experience all the positive comments you guys have made about these.......AND as someone had mentioned, probably should have picked up a couple at the price they are going for right now, WOW deal of the the New Year . Thanks...
