You know it's bad when you see the waring label on a serpentine belt for your engine that states, "Make sure the engine is off before installing." Makes you wonder how many stupid people it took before the automotive parts company had to put this warning on the packaging.
What it boils down to...
You could go for the Marcus Brody look. I plan on getting one in this style this summer.
It looks a lot like the Patron Model that these folks at Panima Hats Direct carry.

Anyway, Happy hunting, and here's to getting it past the watchful...
One of my favorites is my 1896 Baker side by side demascus barreled shotgun. I use 2 3/4 shells and it is a great trap gun. Patterns beautifully. Not bad for 110 years old. The other is my M1 Garand. If I had only one weapon to take into combat that would be it.
Cheers!

My Great Grandfather used to wear spats well into 1940's. My Dad has several pictures of him with his friends, all well dressed with spats. That is just what he was used to. And trend had nothing to do with it. He cut a fine figure in his old age.
Cheers!

Just saw the trailer, hard to judge from just the trailer though. It might be an interesting film, then again, it might be as boring as the English Patient. Time will tell I guess.
Cheers!

Heck, I faced far more abuse in the Marine Corp then I did at the hands of my Mother & Father, and I thought the Marines treated me pretty swell. I only got a few spankings from my Mother, and acting up in public got the threat of one, but it was never deliverd because I straightened up. The...
The suede is just fine. It will soak up more of your body oils though, so you'll have to keep it brushed a little more often so it doesn't lose its knap. I think Bret will change it if you e-mail him, even if the order is in, as long as he hasn't shipped it yet. My next order will have the...
Simmo: The Brown small herringbone #6 is the one that I had ordered. Love how it wears and feels on a cool day. I think the come standard with a suede sweatband, so if you want the smooth leather you might want to specify it with Bret.

Here are some before & after shots of a wonderful old building.
This was taken in the summer before the quake.
This was taken the day after the quake.
The good news is, that they are currently rebuilding the building with an added floor and the familiar acorn clock tower.
Cheers...
Hemingway,
That's looks a lot like my grandfathers Elgin. I know you didn't rob my house because I wearing mine right now. Lovely time pieces you have there.
Cheers!

Josephs right, you'll need the proper block to properly stretch the crown back into it's untapered shape and that should also help with the memory wrinkles as well. A professional reblocking shouldn't be too costly. Give Steve Delk over at Adventurebilt a jingle and see what he can offer...
The only time that my Mother whooped me is when I deserved it. And it did hurt, but truthfully it did hurt my Mom more. She would wind up with a brused palm after I would mouth off and I'd get a slap. So, any of the paddlings that I got were well deserved and I have no mental trauma from it. If...
Man, those are some neat stories. One of those things I wish I could discover. There was the Acorn Clock Building in Paso Robles, California that fell in the December 2003 quake that had a 2nd floor that was finished but never used since 1896. It was supposed to be a ballroom but never got used...
