:offtopic: I won't be able to post on the FL anymore due to my tendonitis flaring up on me and work picking up, but I had to post quickly here.
Not only was I a regular at the (now gone) 8th Street Playhouse in NYC, I'm actually on the audience participation album.
Regarding Starbucks, I've tried all of them. I lived in Seattle for six months in 1990, and tried all of what they had to offer and never liked it. I gave it another try years later, and still don't care for it.
No dedication to nostalgia, vintage or being consistent here. I just consider flavor to be more than actual taste. For example, I prefer breakfast at my local mom and pop greasy spoon over an upscale restaurant's fare- sometimes. Sure, from a culinary standpoint the eggs may be "better" or...
I haven't yet tried percolated, but I will say that, despite the fact that millions swear by Starbucks, I think it tastes like burnt toast. So maybe I'll like percolated better!
(Burnt toast is yummy if it's not in liquid form and is buttered.)

Some of us pointed out that people will be judged for wearing vintage, not because it's what we would do (judge), but how the world sometimes works.

I'm afraid it was fully intentional. It sounded good in theory. :rolleyes: I love spicy things and thought it would be better than Pop Rocks and soda....if I lived to tell about it.
