Thank you BB, I wasn't sure about this crease, but wanted it different than my other hats. It's starting to grow on me.

Wish I started with an open crown on this one. Still have more steaming and smoothing to do on my Resistol Topeka. I will post this on Resistol Roundup.

Here is my Bailey mustang, panama. When I got it, it was in excellent condition. After wearing it on some hiking trips, the sweat began to dry. I applied lexol and it is wearable, but on it's way out. I may replace the sweat.

Very nice! Great cool hat for summer. I have a Bailey Mustang in Panama. Bailey had some beautiful straws. Mine is in the Miller catalog of 1956.

We sure do, I couldn't be happier, I really wanted that Topeka. I didn't expect to win the Westward, but put in a bid anyway. I am looking forward to seeing what you do with your Westward!

Looks like you outbid me this morning. Congratulations, glad to see you got it! Apparently the ops tag dates it 1951-53.

That is a great looking hat! It fits the desert environment. The rolled brim is really nice. They just don't get much better than this.

Nice one Bob, good color. Another western from a different maker, surprising that western hats were made by makers, not normally thought of for making westerns. Some, like yours are very nice.
