Jack Wills
Hello chaps
Just saw this jacket in "Jack Wills" and thought it appropriate for the AGT
The downside is it's a fashion jacket and being designed for the young and trendy will not fit me.

Mr Alan,
When you change your socks, you can wear the old pair around your neck as you walk to help dry them. This is indeed, not stylish for fellows of the FL but a practical solution to drying socks.
You could take the Dr Otto Schaden approach!. I met this chap last year in Egypt, a really intersting and thoroughly nice chap. He discoverd the last tomb in the V of the K (KV63).

Just watched this really moving film about the tragic account of the failed attempt of the Eiger North Face in 1936. Really good, moving story and really good photography, I guess Blue-Ray woould be good. Well worth watching and I guess should be in the Adventurers Gear thread too. What are...
All of these but I would have to add "The Great Escape" and "Angels One Five" and possibly "The Malta Story" but the Great Escape has to be a classic RAF based film IMHO.
I remember being told by the National Trust that the best thing for leather bound books it to continue to read them, the oil from the palms of the hands is all that's needed to keep them from drying out. Funny how they wear white cotton gloves with old books, eh!!!
Not sure I would want to do...
