Abney Park
Brilliant Miss Neecerie, a very good choice.
Having just discovered this band, I cannot stop playing two tracks, you know when a song gets inside your head, playing on repeat in the mind:)
track 1
The Wrongside, with it's deep and moody lyrics
track 2
Sleep Isabella...
I find this an odd one, as the bottle and style are unchanged from their orginals or so they say. Anyway, I will continue to use it whatever they put it in.
Ulisses
Actually, I watched this film while at school, so about 1977. I have never met anyone who has seen it apart from two school friends as we talked about it the following day. I have never seen it repeated on TV (I am sure it has but I have missed it).
The film;
Ulisse (1954)...
A Feast a Midnight (1995)
starring Freddie Finlay, If ever I talk about this film, no one seems to have seen or heard about it, yet I have seen it twice.
Brendon Chase
Texas Girl,

I have two, not that I would wear them out due to the PC world we live in. Although with a dishdasha/kandura or Egyptian gallibaya (although I apprciate it is more suited to a djellaba while in Morocco) is very good for a party. Actually I do wear the gallibaya and dishdash around the house on...

MK love those toy's. Beats my Action Man Jungle outfit and Dinkey Daktari landrover!.
Really love the bottle of Champagne, oh my, to teach such style and raise ones expectations in the young. Playstation has nothing on this ;) .
That's a great shame and most vexing. Mine has a neoprene type sweatband inside, so I guess without that, mine would have met the same fate and ended up in the bin. Never really gave that a thought when I purchased it :eusa_doh: .
I have to say I was unhappy with the band being there when I...
Very true but I have a cheap one from M&S, it cost me £25 a few years ago and it is a folder which I use it for traveling, the beach, etc all the sort of things I have a good chance of getting it very dirty, bashed or lost. So being cheap I do not really mind any wear and tear it receives. I...
If ever there was a need for a "chain" of shops, reminds me of "Reg and Ken", when I was a kid. Not the name of the shop, cannot remember that but they are the two barbers that could do a good short back and sides. Ken was slightly better.
Something for the weekend, sir? :eusa_doh: sorry...
For myself, I would choose "Isambard" more Victorian than Golden Age but I find it a great name.
My daughter is called "Verity" which we both liked. I do like the name Harriet too but my wife did not.
Greetings all
I have a question regarding the Fedora Smiley.
Is it just me (not being the sharpest tool) but I cannot get the Fedora Smiley to work, it just shows a white box with a red cross in place of it, the sort that you get when you have to right click to allow the picture to load...
I would use "The Wind In The Willows" for my description.
Toad is supposed to be the Gentleman by breeding and class, however, Mole and Rat by their actions and manner would be a far more apt definition of a Gentleman.
My late Grandfather was a Gentlemen, very similar to Mole, I would...
