    A very good machinist should be able to change the zipper leaving zero trace, going through the same holes as the ones created when the original zipper was stitched in and do an almost invisible zipper change. The problem arises when a not so good machinist tries that, and leaves empty stitch...

    Agreed, the teeth look badly spaced, changing the slider won't make a difference. Considering this is a riveted zipper i wonder how easy it is to change without visible signs of the surgery? If you were in the EU i would say send it back and ask for a remake as you received a defective product...

    I agree with that reasoning, originally i thought the bicep pockets where a bit much, but if they serve a function to you who am i to tell you to remove them. I wouldn't want them on my jacket, but if they work for you keep them.
