Well, schitzo, my A2 doesn't have an inside pocket because my policy now is to alter Aero styles as little as possible.
Never fear, I will post pics. I really need Ms SJ and some decent light to do so and both are currently lacking.

I am the same. I travel a lot and the passport is by far the main use the inside pocket gets. Wallets I slip in my back pocket. They would be pretty bulky in a side pocket: does anyone do this any more?

Wow, a perfect fit! This one's a keeper. I'm glad I went with the 27.5 length. Aero, as far as I am concerned, is big time back in the biz!
Pics to come. SJ
Bonnie and Clyde, what a film! Strangely enough, I don't remember the A2.
Well, at least the jacket should be long enough to keep me covered up when I'm sleeping on a park bench because of all the money I've spent on jackets.
SJ
Oh no! It was too late! 27.5 inches. Apparently it would take another six months if I cancelled the order.
This whole Aero imbroglio is getting a bit much, especially considering I went all the way up there finally to get the fit perfect.

Guys, thanks. Called Aero. Spoke to the charming new phone person. Found the accent a little impenetrable but I think I managed to get my point across. I asked for max 26.5 back length. You definitely don't want an A2 too long -- it's against the style -- but something hovering around the belly...
Sirs, I have had a 38 model Aero A2 on order since around September last year, when I finally went up to the factory. Things being much delayed since la crise d'Aero, I only just got a call from Ken. Well, he didn't seem too impressed by Will's measurements and expressed some scepticism about...
I've probably had 12 Aeros pass through my hands and the trajectory I've followed has been towards fewer and fewer amateur modifications. I'd alter the jacket only for your body shape and that's about it. Aero even advises against an inside pocket because it eventually imprints upon the...
Butte, can't believe you sold that beautiful cape! That was the inspiration for my own order from Goodwear (year's waiting list) but I worry the current cape doesn't look as good.
SJ
Sure, that's what I'm thinking of. The Stockman is a bit like a coat of armour. But equally there's an attraction to a jacket that is as simple as possible, the better to show off the beautiful leather.
SJ
This is a useful discussion (for people interested in such things). I still can't decide, though. For me, part of the appeal of vintage leathers is their simplicity but the big horse hide babies -- I'm thinking of my Stockman at the moment, for example -- can be very stiff to wear.
