    Keeping the Faith

I actually assume everyone on the road is nuts and feel lucky, not trusting, when I make it home safely.

    Your mid-life crisis

I'll do as my grandmothers would say: "21 plus." :) As for swatches of silver, I hope they come soon. Most people of importance have silver hair. I first learned that long ago by reading Dilbert and discovered that, in fact, it's true. I'll opt for power over beauty in the coming years. :D

    Your mid-life crisis

I bet the local shop might let me take a vintage ride for a test drive if I ask really nice (and hand over some cash!)

That's right! And I just may take a pic and share it behind the scenes. :) (Ravishing? Thank you! But wait, when have you seen me?? :) )

    MEN of the LOUNGE

Your pictures don't disappoint. :) :offtopic: Regarding "flattery will get you anywhere," I just returned from a preview at an auction house and one of the items is a framed piece of Victorian paper with beautiful handwriting with flourishes. The top reads "Advice" and what follows is...

    Your mid-life crisis

In my 20's I made a list of things I wanted to do before I died. I don't recall what was on the list, though. :p Then, when I turned 30 I did another list, that one an ohmygoshtimeisrunningout type of prioritizing. I spent part of last year lamenting what I did not accomplish on the list, but...

    Your mid-life crisis

So I'll be turning 40 (I said it!!!) this December. If I had the funds, I'd buy a sexy hot rod and leer at handsome fellows while driving in it! Since that's not an option, I need to figure out an equally good scandal or event to bring in the next decade in a couple of months. So, if you are 40...

What do you make of this?

OK, stop making me not want to sleep! That is creepy! Even if someone put it there in Photoshop. :) I'm not saying you did, I'm just saying that really IS unsettling no matter if it's a ghost or creative license!

    Vintage Sunglasses

I normally don't post my mug on here, but I think I can remain mysterious behind these 1950's shades I picked up at a yard sale a couple of weeks ago: That's my tough look. :)

How Large IS the Vintage Culture?

One other thing- some of us are incognito. I don't dress vintage.

How Large IS the Vintage Culture?

The vintage culture is alive and well in many places. I guess quite literally vintage people can also mean a gathering of those who share some of our views. But as far as a "scene" well probably not in the way people here are discussing. First off, I have always liked the company of senior...
