    Squeakage!

Some squeak, some do not, most do to some extent. Some I've owned with 20+ years and little wear - seem to squeak the worst. I would reach out to Dena at Great Leather, see if there is a produc she reccommends to "hydrate" your squeaking jacket a bit more thoroughly...

    Aero sheene sizing help please

Oh, hey that changes things.... I'm a Size 42 / Size 44 in CR's from Aero. I would reccommend to E-maiil Direclty to Aero (Holly or Denny) and they can help you out. These are Slim-fitting jackets ith a pretty noticable taper in the Body (2 and 4-pocket Cafe Racers) The Board Racer is more...

    Aero sheene sizing help please

Correct - and it's best to utilize Thurston Brothers as stated. Carrie knows how to fit a person as well as anyone out there.

What Jacket Are You Wearing Today?

This just takes the cake here really! Really true when given your location "the flat field" Describes quite accurately where I grew up as well.

Aero worth the wait? Horsehide shootout; Aero vs. Schott

I went back and re-read your first post. I did not see actual motorcycle useage listed in it. No critisim here, but that would have influenced my vote toward Schott. Haveing owned and worn all manner of jackets and makers, Schott is an excellent choice for those who actually ride. You will...

Aero worth the wait? Horsehide shootout; Aero vs. Schott

^^ These comments are exactly why I ordered both my Ridley & Indian Ranger through Carrie and Thurston Brothers. If you want a visual on this, scroll down in this thread on Page 1323 - https://www.thefedoralounge.com/threads/what-jacket-are-you-wearing-today.82949/page-1323

Aero worth the wait? Horsehide shootout; Aero vs. Schott

I have a CXL FQHH Indian Ranger on order through Thurston Brothers, shoud see if by Janurary. I would do that if you decide it's the best choice for you. Nothing wrong with the Shott at all, just not my preferance.

    Engineer Boots, Harness Boots...

^^ I would be a bit afraid of that too, looks like too tight, he may have to modify these for you..

    Schott x Shinki Jacket

This is a really important comment to keep in mind. Having handled & tried on an original A2 from WWII, full patina, torn cuffs, etc, it was still keeping going but it really was just that - a quickly/cheaply made goatskin jacket with the bare minimum of features and "fancies". Simple cotton...

    Schott x Shinki Jacket

This is a very good point Marc - even Horween has to be stretched to near limit these days the sheer number of boot, belt, wallet, purse, football, baseball glove and jacket manufacturers, to only name a few, that are using thier products. Products that, by nature of thier processes and...

    Schott x Shinki Jacket

Well I will sure say this: If Schott's marketing department is not reading this thread - they are missing out on some very valuable feedback, from customers and prospective customer's both. It is very difficult to get good, solid, useful feedback on products. One would think the Internet...

Wesco Mister Lou engineer boots: fit/sizing?

I did a review of these yesturday in the "General" section - which seems much less responsive of a forum over there: https://www.thefedoralounge.com/threads/comparison-wesco-mr-lou-to-john-lofgren-engineer.102418/ My feet run slightly narrow and as indicated, the pair of Wesco Mr. Lou's I tried...

    Wesco 7500 Engineer Boots 12D

Such great boots! I have tried this model in 12D and the toe-box was just a little too low for my feet to be comfortable with. GLWS - a steal for the asking price. :)
