I ate Cheerios growing up. On a funny, or tragic note if you are a rat, in the 80s, one of the Universities did a study, where they fed rats nothing but breakfast cereal. Only three kept the rats alive, on the others, the rats stuffed themselves and died! Only on Cheerios did the rats thrive...
The Curse Of Oak Island. Just when I thought it could not get any nuttier, next week, an expert is going to show it was the Mayan's that buried the treasure! Fortunately, I fast forward through most of it, probably less then 10 minutes of actual viewing time!
I guise it goes to show you, PE was a good thing! I only remember a handful of over weight kids. Then again, I could probably count on one hand the number of TV diners I had growing up, same goes for fast food, and sodas were a big treat.

Must have been a SoCal thing! I was in Pleasanton CA in the late 60s, and no Hot Rods. There were Jalopies, like a 32 five window coupe with aftermarket wheels, hood removed and headers, so loosely the forerunner of Rat Rods.
You no longer need to watch commercials these day! I refuse to watch any thing that I do not record. Then, I just fast forward it through said commercials. Bonus, I watch less then an hour of TV on any given day!
They were trying to get all the bugs out, so they were rough on them, not just the pilots, but engineers, ground crew, and Air Force personnel, even the occasional Senator fiddled with the controls!
