How Many Fedoras did you see today?
I was in Galena, Illinois on Saturday....BIG Irish festival with a parade and pub events. Needless to say LOTS of people about. Well, I saw at lease a half dozen NICE fedoras plus the usual smattering of crappy cloth trilbies but with also the flocked plastic GREEN fedoras and fabric hats for... -

Quite frankly, on situations like this, as with any assembly line type of work, I always wonder if it just a matter of the wrong sweat accidentally mixed in with others when they switch over hat production to another model.....wrong liners, wrong sweats, mixed....it is seen, and like Moon... -

I am thinking the "Double Basin" in honor of the often hand dug "water tanks" you see for livestock all around Missouri....I have seen some similarly set up on hillsides...though "the waterfall" could work too.;) I really do like making my wonky creases...... M;) I wore this around all weekend... -

Here is a 70's - 80's western I converted. I wish I had a "before" photo....It was typical of the time 3x with a "cattleman" crease and upturned swooped 3 1/2 inch brim. Itwas missing the ribbon, but otherwise was like new. I paid $10. Got it for the price really, as it was cheap enough to... -
