    My 1930 SkeeBall Machine

That is cool! I used to love playing Skee Ball at the seaside amusement parks growing up. Those tickets are also quite the find, Jeremy!

    Tonight is Devil's Night...

Tonight is the night that I try not to eat the Halloween candy I bought for the trick-or-treaters! And watch Charlie Brown. :D

The Loss of an Elder, Teacher, and Friend

Nashoba, I am so sorry. I am also grateful to your mentor and friend, because you really are an incredible lady- I'm sure his lessons will continue to live on through you and through others as you pass it along. I know I've learned from you.

    Well, it's over.

I'm very sorry you are in pain right now dealing with so many life-altering changes. One day at a time- it will get better because you will make it so.

    Golden Era "worst dressed" lists?

I'm just curious if the current media fascination with "worst dressed" and "least sexiest" lists is something relatively recent, or were there always images and aspersions published on poorly dressed stars (and was there such a thing back then??)? They seem to be getting more and more...

Smith and Wesson Model 22 Revolver .45 ACP

Yep. I feel bad for those breast-fed children being exposed to such horrors. Dreadful. lol Before I was a bartender I had had things edited or got tapped on the shoulder by a bartender and you know what? I respected their decisions, even if I didn't like them, because it's not my forum. It...

    Classic Arcade and Video Games

Back when I was naughty teenager I used to cut class, smoke cigs and hang out at Mariella's on E 70th Street in NYC and play Ms Pacman. My high score was over 200,000. :D I also played Dig Dug, Elevator Action, Rampage and lots of Q-bert (high score almost 300,000). :D I had Atari, too.

    Edible People of the World!

That would be funny, to serve the tiny man of Turkey on a platter with stuffing at Thanksgiving. Almost as good as toast and popcorn served on a ping pong table!

    Edible People of the World!

Of the devil??? Do I need to check to see if these move when I'm not looking? I see a Twilight Zone episode in this. Ohhhh maybe if I eat one something will happen! Like, I get sick! Or...? lol

    Edible People of the World!

I wonder. They don't look spoiled. Hmmmm I liked them a lot because they reminded me, too, of something my grandmother would have had in her house. The lady I bought them from is very nice and sadly, needed to sell some things before she moved into assisted living. I thought it was sweet that...

    Edible People of the World!

I bought this for .50 from a yard sale. I think it's from the 40's. The package reads "Product of Italy. Manufactured by Dufour." Made of sugar, glucose, peeled almonds, arabic gum, starch of mais, egg albumen, artificial and natural colors. I like that all of the people have a soft center. lol

    Fake Melons

Yes, I, a female, started this thread seeking the opinions of both men and women regarding the difference between Golden Era sizing and today, specifically, the surgically altered aspect of it. I'm sorry if the title was a poor choice. Now, when I say I want to know men's opinions, I, nor most...

Precisely why I didn't start this in the display case. :)
