Sorry about the quality, but for some reason, my cell phone was having trouble with the competing lights. This is the last down town theater. The little wheel design on the left, gives the elusion it is spinning. A real eye catcher!
My first airplane flight was in a DC-3. For the life of me I can't remember where we went, but as stated, you sure got your share of weightless time with all the air pockets! It was double fun, since my dad flew in C-47s with the Ninth Air force during WWII. Bill Lear, (of the jet with the same...
The Hoax (2006) For those of you old enough to remember, it was funny to watch all those important men, starring at a speaker phone as if God was on the other end! Spoiler alert, it is now thought that this was the reason for the Water Gate Hotel break in! Very interesting.
With all the emotions going wild, you all missed one of the most remarkable things in the film! Notice how the robot stumbles several times but always recovers, much like a one year old child. Just a couple of years ago, when a robot stumbled just once, game over, like a child taking their very...
I did a search on the Brando jacket, it is anything but settled on who made his jacket! Seems, most agree that not one jacket yet found matches his exactly. There are some that speculate, it could be a transitional jacket, bridging Durable and the Perfecto. Who knows? One thing for sure, if ever...
Sabu Dastagir, second from the right bottom row. He was a tail gunner on B-24s in the Pacific. If you have never heard of him, I guarantee you have seen him in countless old movies, from Elephant Boy, to A Tiger Walk!
Sadly I was just at Sears today. Talk about a ghost town, hardly any one in the store, other then employees! I did make one big mistake, I miss read my 50% coupon, I thought it ended last Sunday, instead it was the day before. I could have bought a nice 300 peace tool set for less then $200! Oh...
I have to admit, I was wrong! Last night, after logging off, I thought to myself, I bet no one will be painting pictures of the modern ships. Wrong, and they don't even use the most flattering angels! Some one must like these paintings?
Then there is poor old Mark Oberholtzer, who traded in his plumbing company truck for a new one. Seems the dealer who promised to remove the logos from the door did not! The truck ended up with terrorist, and on national TV. Mark received thousands of death threats, because idiots thought he...
Actually, there is a simpler explanation for the crime rate in those decades. In the 60s through the 80s, we baby boomers hit our teens an twenties, the largest group in history, then, in the 90s we hit our 30s and 40s. Just look at the age range of most criminals!
One thing for sure, bosses don't mind when you don't agree with them, and in the end you save them tens of thousands of dollars! I did that with a boss, talked him out of buying a C-47, later he thanked me, it would have been a money pit!
I should say, even though I think there is nothing there, I do get a kick out of the adventurers who will spend there money searching. It does add a little excitement to the world! Nothing wrong with dreaming, just don't get overly caught up in it!
Another great one. Is there anything cooler then a steam locomotive High Balling? Hats of to Union Pacific Heritage program, wish more companies would take such pride in their past!
