Thanks Mike. I've always liked this hat and I'm liking the new suit, though it does need a few adjustments.
Love that hat Mike. Do you get Oddjob to caddy when you go golfing? I'm all with you on the nap. I woke up far too early this morning and need one badly.
Thanks Stefan. Just trying to...
Thanks D. My guess would be late 60s into the 70s, but I'm no expert on dating. I can't really find any info on the maker's label and there is no union label, no content label and no country of origin label, so I'm mostly guessing.
Thanks,
Michael
One of the new Amana woolies gets a trial today.

Thanks Stefan. I'm pretty lazy in the field of creases. This one is a fun one to crease though as it goes from diamond to cattleman to most anything in between in about 30 seconds. And brim up or down with just a snap.
Thanks,
Michael
Thanks DH. Sounds like it could be almost coat weather here tomorrow. And just when i was starting to get used to heat. I guess I won't complain though as I'm sure the heat is planning a return with a vengeance.
Thanks,
Michael
Thanks Matt. The shirt is a Bud Berma out of the mid to late '70s I think. Hand embroidery on the collar and pocket tops.
I eagerly await the results of your research on the Shootout at the Tardan Hat Shoppe.
Michael
The other day this old French model that I guess is the equivalent of a stingy brim in a hat.

The brown one is interesting. It seems like it could be a crepe fabric. Whatever it is, it is a different weave than any of my other Amana ties. Both are pretty subdued by my usual standards. Ha ha.
Thanks,
Michael
I was thinking you summer jacket wearing fiends were gluttons for punishment. Yesterday I was overheated in a denim shirt.
