I'm beginning to have enough of these now to call it a collection. ha ha.
Have a good one,

Thanks Red. It was colder than I expected outside for coffee this morning. I had on a light windbreaker and had to change over to the deerskin.
Thanks Johnny. The jacket was made by a company where you sent them your salted deerhides and they tanned them and sewed them into whatever item of...

Off for the grocery shopping in a bit. First maybe a hat fix...
Thanks Stefan. The color is Tanbark, if you start looking for one.
It finds itself on my head often while I'm just sitting around the place.
Another stellar pair of hats topping off a great look.
Thanks,
Michael
Nice save Jim. Great hat. Since the threat of rain has turned into sunshine it put me in the mood to don the Hanover Square while sitting out on the new patio furniture set I thrifted yesterday.

I saw a stingy felt and a cheap straw one while out today. And in a convenience store I saw a rack full of what I assume were paper straw hats for sale. One was actually a pretty nice looking hat, priced at $19.99.

A spot of rain earlier and still a nice cool morning. Resistol Stagecoach should keep my head dry if any more shows up.

Thanks,
Michael

Thanks Stefan. I'm liking this new straw.
Stylin'. I like that Dunlap.
It's a fun little hot weather hat. Wasn't expecting to see the Polar again until fall.
Love that one Matt. Looks great. Any idea on the age of it?
Michael
Bleeding Madras is cotton that was handwoven and dyed in India using traditional vegetable dyes. The dyes were not absolutely fast to water so when washed they would tend to both fade and blend with the other colors. I think the madras name is the British name for cloth woven in the Madras...
