    Ever seen AN6552 M442 or G1 with sheepskin D1 or B3 type collar like in this photo?

    Just a wild guesse. It looks like the jacket is made of sheepskin - that might point in the direction of Cockpit/Avirex. They were known for not taking the mil.specs very seriously and made larger more roomier jackets too. With sideentry pockets.
