Thanks for the kind words chaps! It is a lovely jacket, and it fits a treat, just seems such an extravagence having a lot of dosh tied up in a jacket that rarely comes out...
I know, a jacket like this needs an easy retirement - the occasional airing on a nice winters day, a coat of...
Late War Irvin, named to a 'Don Gunn'
Well, about time I posted some pics of the best Irvin I own. Bought off ebay at the end of 2006 from our own aswatland. 'Don Gunn' nametag sewn inside sleeve zip. A bit of a change from a the 'BSA' beater Irvin I usually wear...
It's a...
Just listed on ebay. I bought this recently, it was listed as a gerkin so didn't get many hits. Didn't realise until it turned up that it is actual they type issued to women of the Auxillery Territorial Service during the Second World War. This is the later economy pattern without the half...

last ones...!

Some comparison photos...
Took some photos this morning with some good natural light, to show some of the style differences between the Pritzker and my later Brill Bros G-1.
The collars... The Pritzker has a very different shape, much more angular and pointed. I thought it may have been...
It's the scene where sexy robot Evil Maria is an exotic dancer in the Upper City's Yoshiwara Nightclub... that's a crowd shot of blokes in the audience going crazy over her...
Just went to the 'shelf to find some TT and test your theory, as it's been a while since I've flicked through them... Couldn't find it :eusa_doh: Must be round my Dads...[huh]
I remember finding it pretty funny, but it is topical humour for those serving at the time. A lot of 'in' jokes...
