    I had to say it. We have had a lot of people with birthdays at work this week and finally Mom went "What was going on 9 months before this week?" And 9 months from this week puts you right around February 14th. Suddenly, it all made sense. Thanks Mom and Dad.

    I take a week of vacation at the end of September every year. Every year, I go, "I'm growing a beard while I'm on vacation." Every year, I watch it grow in patchy, but a little less patchy than the year before, and every year, when I go back to work, it becomes (a still fairly poor) goatee...
