Per quantum physics, the act of counting chocolate chips in the cookie breaks the cookie into crumbly pieces...so you're left eating cookie crumbs, not cookies.
1 short leather jacket, 1 3/4 leather jacket, 1 spring/summer motorcycle jacket, 1 fall/winter motorcycle jacket, 1 city leather jacket, 1 country leather jacket. Up to 6, so 4-6 is probably ideal.
I thought I'd tap into the knowledge of this forum re: A2's and patches. My wife's grandfather flew in WWII: 15th AAF / 82nd Fighter Group / 97th Fighter Squadron. Assuming there was a patch for each of the designations, where would I place them on the jacket? I assume the 97th Fighter...
Very nice, V. Another great Johnsons jacket. I always get a windflap on straight zip jackets for riding....great feature and necessary at speed. Oh, and the knit really personalizes the jacket...nice touch!
The referenced sleeve measurement approach will yield spotty results if the shoulder width isn't taken into account. I have sleeves measuring 24-25.5 measured in the correct way that fall exactly to the same point above the wrist. Better to measure it like a dress shirt.
When measuring sleeves, it should be done the same way a dress shirt sleeve is measured: From the center of the back, shoulder, then down the side, bent elbow to the wrist. Reason: Shoulder width has an impact: A jacket with a 18.5 shoulder will likely have a different effective sleeve...

You may want to consider a zip in/out Thinsulate lining. This could extend the use of your jacket to warmer days by zipping out the liner; alternatively extend the use by allowing you to wear it on colder days by zipping in the liner.
I have a Belstaff Knockhill Vintage Black leather jacket which is the Pure Motorcycle version, with armor. I use it for riding in the colder months in Texas (Nov-Mar).
